At Terros, Inc., we are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our clients. As a Behavioral Health Technician with our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) or co-occurring mental health issues and substance abuse.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Permanent Supportive Housing program as a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will work directly with members who are enrolled in our program, providing support and guidance to help them maintain stable housing and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop healthy coping skills and strategies for change with our members
  • Create Individual Service Plans (ISPs) using SMART goals
  • Assist with obtaining furniture and other essential items to live independently
  • Crisis intervention and stabilization
  • Financial management and budgeting assistance
  • Personal hygiene and self-care support
  • Accessing community resources and support systems
  • Collaboration with case managers and clinics

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, along with a combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling at least three years
  • Customer service skills, especially good communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, with flexibility, and within prescribed deadlines
  • Basic computer skills
  • A valid Arizona Driver License and meeting requirements of our driving policy
  • A valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1)
