Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at GPAC. As a Therapist, you will provide outpatient behavioral health therapy and counseling to children and families in the Lancaster Community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client intakes and assessments to create client-centered treatment plans and establish treatment goals.
  • Provide focused therapeutic interventions to enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning and coping.
  • Assess client needs, service availability, and appropriateness of services.
  • Coordinate care with the client's care team and external providers as applicable.
  • Provide clients with self-management skills and educational information to promote full participation in their treatment and recovery.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client progress and diagnostic information in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a Mental Health Field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.).
  • Licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (L-PC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 3-years experience working with children and families, preferred.
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
