Job Summary:
AG Globe Services is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasound exams on patients, including obstetric, abdominal, and vascular studies
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography
- BLS certificate required
- Advanced certification in vascular, small parts, and nuchal translucency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in at least 1st trimester obstetric ultrasound exams
- Must have a strong background in abdominal (including appendix), GYN, small parts (mostly scrotal) and vascular studies (venous for DVT and at least moderate experience with arterial extremity parts)
- Graduate of recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in Ultrasound Technology
- Proficiency in all areas of ultrasound to include routine diagnostic, portable, and invasive procedures
