Environmental Services Aide Career Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to join our team at Encompass Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety across all hospital areas, adhering to established quality standards and regulations.
  • Utilize various equipment and tools to perform cleaning duties, including high dusters, vacuums, mops, floor polishers, and more.
  • Handle general office equipment and assist in maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines and expectations.
  • Follow established guidelines and procedures for handling hazardous materials and potential exposure situations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and night shifts as needed.
