Sign-on Bonus:

$500 after 30 days

$500 after 6 months

3rd Shift Full-Time (11p-7a – Sunday - Thursday)

Newark Container

Tamarack Road

Newark, OH

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the yard truck during various drop & hook and staging scenarios involving both loaded and empty trailers.
  • Position loaded and unloaded trailers at designated dock spaces for efficient loading or unloading.
  • Move trailers within the yard and perform some local runs as required.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the spotter truck and associated equipment.
  • Report any defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages related to vehicles and/or equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trailer movements and fuel usage.
  • Check trailer inventory and report any discrepancies on log forms.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid CDL Class A License.
