About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HTST Pasteurization Specialist to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the HTST pasteurization equipment used in the yogurt production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation of HTST Equipment: Operate and monitor the HTST pasteurization system to ensure proper heating, holding, and cooling of milk according to established protocols and quality standards.
  • Monitoring and Control: Continuously check and adjust system parameters, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to maintain optimal conditions for pasteurization.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on pasteurized product samples to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on HTST equipment. Identify and report major mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
  • Sanitation: Follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure cleanliness of the HTST system and surrounding work areas.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations. Ensure that all processes comply with company policies and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of operational parameters, maintenance activities, and quality control tests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-year experience operating HTST pasteurization systems or similar industrial equipment in a food or dairy manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Understanding of pasteurization processes, dairy production, and food safety regulations.
  • Strong focus on detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and correct potential issues promptly.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
