Dairy Processing Technician

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled HTST Operator to join our team in Frederick County, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HTST systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor the HTST pasteurization system to ensure proper heating, holding, and cooling of milk according to established protocols and quality standards.
- Continuously check and adjust system parameters, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to maintain optimal conditions for pasteurization.
- Conduct regular quality checks on pasteurized product samples to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on HTST equipment.
- Follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure cleanliness of the HTST system and surrounding work areas.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training is a plus.
- Minimum 1-year experience operating HTST pasteurization systems or similar industrial equipment in a food or dairy manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of pasteurization processes, dairy production, and food safety regulations.
