As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean environment throughout the Billings Clinic campus and branch locations.

This includes performing specific cleaning duties, moving furniture and equipment, and delivering and replenishing supplies.

You will also be responsible for laundry duties in specific units within the organization.

This includes coordinating the daily laundry service needs with departments, collecting, sorting and weighing of soiled laundry, linen and garments, folding, counting, stacking and distributing clean laundry and linen garments.

You will be expected to maintain competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.

You will also be expected to identify needs and set goals for own growth and development, meet all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements, and support and model behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cleans and services areas within Billings Clinic.
  • Maintains floors to include sweeping, mopping, stripping, finishing, buffing and refinishing hard floor surfaces, shampoos carpets and furniture.
  • Removes trash/linen from the assigned area(s).
  • Washes windows, walls, vents, lights, and baseboards utilizing appropriate disinfectants.
  • Dusts and polishes hard surfaces.
  • Moves furniture and equipment within Billings Clinic and to off site storage as necessary.
  • Delivers and replenishes supplies as needed.
  • May perform laundry services for specific areas of the organization.
  • Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.
  • Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development.
  • Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.

Requirements include:

  • High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, and/or custodial experience, preferred.
