Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate logs for all equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on various systems, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
  • Oversee the upkeep of the building and its associated systems.
  • Hold certifications and/or licenses in specific trades relevant to healthcare engineering.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an acute healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Hold certifications and/or licenses in trades pertinent to healthcare engineering (e.g., Steam boiler, HVAC).
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $25.83 to $X. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring, considering various factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
