Job Overview

This role applies psychological/counseling principles in assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, and consultations. You'll help develop programs and provide supervision to licensed and non-licensed social workers and staff. Integrating behavioral health services into a primary care setting, your responsibilities will include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning. You'll provide various interventions such as individual, group, child, and family therapy, focusing on short-term problem-solving therapy, short-term cognitive behavioral therapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, crisis intervention, coping skills, substance abuse treatment, behavior modification, case consultations, and other evidence-based practice techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement behavioral health programs
  • Provide supervision to licensed and non-licensed social workers and staff
  • Integrate behavioral health services into primary care settings
  • Diagnose, evaluate, treat, and discharge patients
  • Provide individual, group, child, and family therapy
  • Implement evidence-based practice techniques

Requirements:
  • Professional licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Behavioral Science Board
  • Masters' degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children required
  • Previous experience supervising MSWs and/or ASWs preferred
  • Completion of 15 units in Supervision coursework
  • Current CPR/First Aid Training certificate required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English and other predominant language of population served preferred
