About the Role
This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex medical terminology. As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide timely and accurate responses to patient inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build rapport with patients, empathize with their concerns, and deliver high-quality support. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge by attending training sessions and workshops, which will enhance your performance and contribute to the team's success.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Customer Service Representative include:
+ Answering inbound customer service calls and making some outbound follow-up calls in a professional, patient experience, and customer service-oriented manner.
+ Providing timely and accurate responses to patient inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
+ Facilitating resolution by referring matters to issue/content experts or escalating them to supervisors as necessary.
+ Communicating with other organizational departments to ensure proper handling of patient accounts.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
+ A high school diploma or equivalent education.
+ 0-2 years of prior relevant experience in customer service or a related field.
Bonus Requirements
Possessing any of the following qualifications would be an added advantage:
+ 1-3 years of experience in payor-specific or medical specialty billing.
+ Dialer experience.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish).
