About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our AWS Worldwide Financial Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving AWS adoption in the consumer and institutional payments space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach sales teams on AWS services relevant to payments customers
  • Understand the unique technical requirements of payments and banking customers, and work closely with internal teams to guide the direction of AWS service adoption
  • Work directly with customers to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures
  • Drive technical solutions discussions with customers, diving deep into details to solve complex technical challenges
  • Scope and own customer engagements, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
  • Work backwards from customer business needs to accelerate adoption of the most appropriate AWS technology
  • Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams
  • Act as a thought leader in the wider community, educating and sharing best practices
  • Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures
  • 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
