Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst Intern to assist our Investment Team in managing a multi-billion dollar investment portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio monitoring. This internship will provide valuable experience in investment analysis and portfolio management, as well as exposure to a wide range of institutional-quality external investment managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct special projects related to the ongoing development of the INPRS investment program.
- Provide support in portfolio analysis, including research and analysis of portfolio strategies, securities holdings, and performance attribution analysis.
- Assist in the research and evaluation of the manager universe to help identify candidates for inclusion in the strategic asset allocation.
Requirements
- Working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of basic investment concepts and statistical concepts.
- Considerable skill in research and analysis of large amounts of information, performing analysis of the information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate project progress and final results to the investment team.
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers, agency staff, and external contacts.
