We are currently seeking a qualified Gastroenterology Specialist to join our dedicated team at iRecruitMD. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive medical care to individuals experiencing digestive and gastrointestinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of patients with digestive and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Formulate effective treatment plans and ensure proper follow-up care.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
- Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies.
- Administer appropriate medications and treatments to patients.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Uphold a high standard of patient confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Board certification in Gastroenterology.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Active medical license in the state of Florida.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, although new Fellowship candidates will be considered.
