Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Cannabis Practitioner to join our team at CannaHealth, a leading provider of medical marijuana evaluations and certifications. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a critical role in assessing patient needs, evaluating their suitability for medical marijuana treatment, and providing personalized guidance and support.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient applications and determine medical necessity for medical marijuana treatment
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including reviewing medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
  • Develop personalized recommendations for cannabis therapy, taking into account patient-specific needs and goals
  • Provide education and guidance on safe and effective use of cannabis products
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and outcomes
Requirements
  • Masters degree in nursing or related field; APRN certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pain management or oncology
  • Strong assessment and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with state regulations and laws governing medical marijuana
