Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the setup and operation of hones, lathes, mills, tool grinders, or myford grinders with little or no supervision and perform required process checks or inspections per the process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of hones, lathes, mills, tool grinders, or myford grinders with little or no supervision.
• Perform required process checks or inspections per the process documentation.
• May set up/run CNC or manual machinery.
• Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets, and method documents to correctly operate machines and inspect machined parts.
• Utilize various gauging equipment to ensure conformance to engineering specifications and standards through the production run.
• May perform secondary work functions such as removing and installing lee plugs and STIs.
• May provide training to others in the department when necessary.
• Promote teamwork within the organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Previous Machining experience required.
• GD&T Knowledge required.
