About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team at Woodward. As a Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machines with minimal supervision, performing process checks and inspections as required.
  • Document nonconforming material and participate in activities to implement root cause and corrective actions.
  • Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, and operating procedures.
  • Utilize computer programs to enter part data, log time, and download programs.
  • Operate precision inspection equipment and perform first-piece checkouts.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints for proper production task completion.
  • Perform routed operations of precision close-tolerance parts.
  • Complete paperwork while adhering to record retention requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience or applicable degree from a trade school.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques and use inspection tools efficiently.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming/machining.
  • Basic written/verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, and optimism for work activities.
  • Detail orientation and ability to follow work instructions.
