Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage VTC integration projects through all stages of the lifecycle from initial design phase through implementation.
  • Documentation: Document infrastructure changes that support VTC systems to include CAD drawings, and project specific engineering plans.
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Cisco video conferencing equipment.
  • Configuration and Setup: Configuration of VTC endpoints in Cisco TelePresence Management Suite (TMS) and Video Communication Server (VCS).
  • Advanced Knowledge: In depth understanding of Cisco Meeting Manager (CMS) and Cisco Meeting Manager (CMM) Video conferencing.
  • Server Environment: Advanced knowledge of the Windows 2012R2 server environment to include configuration of web services.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Support: Provides hands-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all VTC system issues.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast pace, demanding environment.
  • Security Clearance: Experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) classified and unclassified environments.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and use of IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, TCP/IP, QoS, ISDN, Firewall Traversal, SIP, H.323, H320.
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides: DoD Video Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) processes.
  • System Design and Setup: Ability to design and set-up management interface, bandwidth utilization, zone distribution, dial plan, telephony integration among other VTC enterprise system requirements.
  • System Evaluation and Installation: Responsible for evaluating, designing, documenting, installing, implementing, testing, maintaining, operating, removing and upgrading, and modifying video teleconferencing equipment systems.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Cisco VTC Endpoints Configuration: Requires 3+ years' experience configuring Cisco VTC endpoints utilizing TMS for call scheduling/bridging and VCS call routing.
  • Department of Defense Requirements: Understanding of Department of Defense (DOD) & DISA VTC requirements.
  • Security Clearance: Experience with DITSCAP/8500.2 IA controls desired.
  • Security Technical Implementation Guides: Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) to include Wireless STIGS V6R1 is desired.
  • Public Key Infrastructure: Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) required.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • DISA Global Video Services: Working knowledge of DISA Global Video Services (GVS) is a plus.
Special Requirements and Security Clearance
  • Security Clearance: DoD Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance required.
  • DoD Directive Compliance: Candidates are required to be complaint with DoD Directive A valid DoD Level II certification will be required within 120 days from starting.
