Job Summary:

Dartmouth Health seeks a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and implementing nursing standards in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and timely transfers.
  • Document patient care using hospital standards and adhere to established protocols for medication administration and patient safety.
  • Provide education to patients and families based on assessment of learning needs and follows established standards for emergency services.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for the position, including a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice and ED experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state license.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, 7P-7A, with a set schedule available.
