Preschool Support Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Child Development Associate (CDA) Specialist in our preschool setting.
About the PositionThis role will assist 1-2 classrooms in planning and implementing classroom routines, curriculum, meals, and related activities for pre-school and/or infant toddler children (ages 6 months-5 years).
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Lead Teachers to plan and implement educational activities and programs.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
- Support the core functions of the Head Start program, including administrative tasks and record-keeping.
- A minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
- Previous experience in childcare or education is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those with proficiency in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.
- A minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required (completed or currently enrolled).
- A commitment to obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate within 1 year of employment is required.
We offer a competitive compensation package of $15.69-$16.69 per hour, along with a comprehensive fringe benefits package including paid holidays, paid time off, health, dental, vision coverage, and retirement program.
