Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our automated equipment and electrical systems within our Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Systems Maintenance: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including testing, replacement, or repair of electrical systems, motors, power supplies, frequency drives, and other related equipment.
  • Automated Equipment Support: Provide technical support for automated equipment, including Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous productivity.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintain the CMMS/EAM system to ensure accurate tracking of repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Requires some technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: Normally requires one to two years of related and progressively responsible experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems, with ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, electrical circuitry diagrams, and PLC ladder and block logic.
