Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at AdventHealth DeLand. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the unit.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety within the unit.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree.
  • Active Florida or multi-state RN license required.
