Data Collection: WIND Project Overview

The goal of this project is to improve the accuracy of AI-powered audio recognition systems. The primary objective is to enhance the quality and user experience by leveraging machine learning algorithms.

Task Description:

Participants will be required to complete two types of audio recordings: 20 minutes of scripted prompts and 10 minutes of free-form responses. The entire process should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Requirements:

  • A smartphone that is less than 5 years old is necessary for participation.
  • Volunteers must be able and willing to record their own voice.
  • Comfort with improvisation is required, as one part of the project involves creating information on the fly.
  • Native speakers of English (AU) or French (France) are eligible to participate.

Additional Requirements:

  • A survey must be completed before being considered for participation.
  • Project completion is mandatory to receive payment.
