About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer II-Fraud Detection to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, machine learning, and distributed systems. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing fraud signal collection and processing services that run in real time and operate at web scale. You will also develop our next generation fraud detection service to run fraud detection algorithms at scale across various business components.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop fraud signal collection and processing service that runs in real time and operates at web scale.
  • Develop our next generation fraud detection service to run fraud detection algorithms at scale across various business components.
  • Ideate and develop tools for scalable data analysis, anomaly detection that act as a force multiplier.
  • Strive for continuous performance optimization and security resilience for all infrastructure components for team.
  • Train production machine learning models that fight fraud.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft's customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include a Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in infrastructure design in Fraud or Risk related areas.
