Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Calibration Specialist to join our team at MicroPrecision inc. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure accurate readings and compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement calibration procedures and customer requirements in accordance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Conduct pre-evaluation and inspections of customer equipment, including visual checking, cleaning, functional testing, and self-testing.
  • Ensure maintenance, minor repair, and calibration of equipment are completed based on customer specifications and requirements.
  • Communicate status and calibration updates to concerned personnel and collaborate with other technicians, customer service representatives, sales, and purchasing teams.
  • Analyze data, compute uncertainty, upload data, and generate reports to ensure accurate and sufficient calibration data.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and protect and complete necessary documentation related to field work.
  • Participate in accreditation and customer assessments as required.
  • Perform activities of a qualified technician in calibration and repair according to authorized technical capacity qualification.
Requirements
  • Technical or related degree in Metrology, Instrumentation, Electronics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic technology or dimensional/mechanical technology.
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools.
  • Knowledgeable in calibration procedures, computation of uncertainty, and computer applications.
  • Good verbal communication and written skills.
  • Team player, trustworthy, service-oriented, and able to manage priorities.
