Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Fiber Technician. This role is ideal for those looking to embark on a career in the outside plant (OSP) and fiber optics sector.

Training Program

The selected candidate will undergo an extensive 8-week training program, where they will work closely with an experienced lead technician. Upon successful completion of the training, the technician will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card, and necessary equipment to perform their duties.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Junior Fiber Technician, you will engage with customers on a daily basis, typically completing 3 to 5 service calls each day. A structured schedule will be provided to help you manage your daily tasks effectively. It is essential that you possess your own tools to facilitate your work.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong desire to build a long-term career in the fiber industry. We value a positive workplace culture and seek individuals who understand that while skills can be taught, attributes such as attitude and effort are paramount. Key qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Note: Candidates must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles after the training period.
