Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse I to join our team at The US Oncology Network. As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a critical role in the coordination and management of clinical trials, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to screen potential patients for clinical trials and enroll them in studies.
- Coordinate patient care in compliance with protocol requirements, including dispensing investigational drugs and providing patient education.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition, adverse events, and concomitant medication use, and thoroughly document all findings.
- Assist with the collection and maintenance of regulatory documents, including informed consent forms and study protocols.
- Participate in required training and education of staff and patients.
- Graduate from an accredited program for nursing education required (BSN preferred).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
- Current BLS or ACLS certification required.
- OCN, SoCRA, or ACRP certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required, preferably in oncology.
- Experience in Microsoft Office required.
- Experience in clinical research preferred.
The work environment is a traditional office setting with occasional exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.
The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extensive periods, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 lbs, and requiring corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
