Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Courier Driver to join our team at FedEx. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. You will also be responsible for checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Deliver and pick-up packages in a timely manner
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of courier experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with assistance
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
Working Conditions

Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with your state requirements for type of vehicle assigned and have a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Have had a valid driver's license for the previous three-year period
Pay and Benefits

Hourly Range: $21.36 - $33.18. Eligible employees receive health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
