$21-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Veterinary Technician at VCA Adirondack Animal Hospital, you will be responsible for creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician with:

  • At least 2 years of veterinary experience.

A strong background in:

  • Physical examinations and patient assessment.
  • Anesthesia monitoring.
  • Surgical preparation and assisting.
  • Dentistry.
  • Radiology.
  • Laboratory work.
  • Venipuncture.
  • Catheter placement.
  • Pharmacy.
  • Patient recovery.
  • Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals.

Work Location and Schedule

The ideal candidate will be located in Queensbury, NY and able to work a variety of shifts, including 10 hour, 12 hour, and 8 hour shifts, with no nights required.

Estimated salary: $43,200 - $51,000 per year
