We are seeking a licensed veterinary technician to join our team at VCA Adirondack Animal Hospital in Queensbury, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of veterinarians and technicians who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Description

This role will involve creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients by delivering an outstanding client experience. You will support the technician and doctor teams by assisting with physical examinations, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, radiology, laboratory work, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy, patient recovery, and compassionate care of hospitalized animals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CVT, RVT, or LVT certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
