Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - Orthopedic Surgery

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at OU Health. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to patients in a dual role of outpatient and/or inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, manage, educate, and promote health for patients and families with acute and chronic health needs.
  • Work with administrative, nursing, physician, and university faculty to ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
  • Provide care within your scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, regulations, and institutional policy and practice agreements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in designated specialty preferred.
  • Must have prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.
  • Active RN and APNP license in State of Oklahoma for Nurse Practitioners, and Active PA license in State of Oklahoma for Physician Assistants.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • CPR certification and Advanced Life Support certifications if relevant to practice area.
