Job Title: Pathology Study Coordinator

Inotiv, a leading drug discovery and development company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the pathologist team with client communication, protocol design, quoting, and project initiation tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees, and external partners.
  • Support and participate in company initiatives as directed.
  • Stay up-to-date with facility SOPs, policies, study protocols, and other relevant information.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Provide assistance or support to other Inotiv sites as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Support remote and on-site pathologists in their daily tasks.
  • Assist with upfront client communication, protocol design, quoting, and project initiation tasks.
  • Request and organize applicable documents and data from the Sponsor/Study Director prior to the initiation of Pathology work.
  • Provide clear and accurate documentation of Pathology study activities according to SOP requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a Pathology schedule to ensure appropriate planning and visibility of upcoming and ongoing Pathology projects.
  • Coordinate and communicate project timelines, milestones, and delays for Pathology operations to clients, study directors, and internal departments.
  • Ensure scheduled projects are tracked and timelines are maintained to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Ensure upstream and downstream teams have visibility and access to relevant Pathology documents to maintain consistent workflow and project progression.
  • Coordinate internal, cross-site, and external transfer of Pathology study materials.
  • Collaborate with the Investigative and Molecular Pathology Study Coordinator team on projects involving the Pathology group.
  • Organize and maintain study materials on multiple platforms.
  • Utilize project management tools and templates.
  • Assist with capture, annotation, and formatting of photomicrographs for Pathology reports.
  • Assist with monthly revenue recognition for Pathology projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a life science field.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with other functional departments and sites.
  • Ability to multi-task and/or manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to create, manage, track, and update pathology deliverable schedules.
  • Review study designs/protocols as it applies to scheduling histopathology work.
  • Self-directed and creative thinker.
  • Proficient in the use of computer software applications as needed.

This is an exempt role paying $70,000-$85,000/year. Salary will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities. Benefits include health and dental coverage, short- and long-term disability, paid time off, paid parental leave, 401K, and more.
