Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting children and their families in establishing excellent vision health practices.
- Leading a dedicated team of vision care and optometry professionals with support from Hero Practice Services.
- Delivering diagnoses and thorough professional vision treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal vision health, utilizing accepted clinical and diagnostic methodologies.
- Coordinating referrals to vision specialists when necessary.
- Ensuring a clean, sterile, and patient-focused work environment.
- Adhering strictly to state, federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook).
Required qualifications include:
- A strong commitment to enhancing children's vision health.
- A license (pending or active) issued by the State Board of Optometry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire for professional advancement as an optometrist.
- Organizational skills and a comprehensive understanding of vision care.
This position necessitates a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; communicate both in person and via telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
