Nursing Care Specialist

This position is responsible for providing personal care services to residents in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Certified Nursing Assistant will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. This may include assisting with daily living activities, providing mobility and transfer functions, and participating in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities
The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Assisting residents with mobility and transfer functions, including transfers from wheelchairs to beds or toilets.
- Participating in the development and implementation of personalized care plans.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred
