Job Title: Asset Recovery Specialist

HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Asset Recovery Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting debts and maintaining relationships with our growing membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls while taking a high volume of inbound calls
  • Process payments via internal software
  • Maintain accurate, real-time records of all conversations with Members
  • Correspond with Members via email and chat
  • Ability to diffuse situations as well as an ability to ask difficult questions with tact
  • Ability to actively listen and retain information from Members calling in to discuss payment arrangements & hardships as well as help with filing insurance or GAP claims and any other requests for assistance
  • Fluidly be able to navigate between various internal software and Microsoft Office & Word
Requirements:
  • Must be able to work Mon-Fri 8:30-6:15
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends and overtime
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous work history in fast paced environment & Call Center experience preferred
