Quality Control Inspector

About the Role:

Morgan Truck Body LLC is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and ensure that all units are manufactured to sales agreement and Morgan's engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
  2. Direct others within the work area to complete rework items.
  3. Conduct in-process quality audits and review standards and specification requirements with production supervisor when errors or defects are detected.
  4. Perform final inspection function per Morgan and Customer specification and standards.
  5. Work with manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and budgetary goals are met.
  6. Direct and coordinate the quality process, provide continuous quality improvements, and ensure the integrity of Morgan's product quality, manufacturing, certification and release activities.
  7. Train the workforce on quality standards and specifications.
  8. Adhere to the company safety regulations and assist in the training and awareness of safety guidelines to new employees in the department.
  9. Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
  10. Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  2. Previous experience in a quality control/quality assurance position. Prefer 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or a quality assurance environment.
  3. Clear and effective communication Skills.
  4. Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and follow established safety and procedures.
  5. Computer experience using Microsoft Office.
