Sanitarian-3rd Specialist

Foster Farms is seeking a highly skilled Sanitarian-3rd Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of our plant, packaging, and processing machines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare machinery for cleaning, removing materials and placing them in designated containers.
- Break down and disassemble equipment, loosening nuts, screws, and belts as needed.
- Apply cleaning and sanitizing solutions, scrubbing surfaces and parts, and rinsing with high-pressure hoses.
- Dry equipment, tools, and floors, and reassemble machinery as required.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and complete required paperwork at the end of each shift.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
- Ability to use and learn to use equipment and tools used to perform the job.
- Ability to perform all job functions safely.
- Ability to meet company standards for the job.
- Ability to follow instructions and work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
