Job Overview

As a Construction Coordinator I, you will play a key role in managing new home construction projects, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and excellence.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of construction progress and scheduling municipal inspections.
  • Completing internal quality checks to ensure homes are ready for inspection on schedule.
  • Learning and understanding construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work to effectively interact with contractors.
  • Maintaining home site and community cleanliness.
  • Monitoring job site safety and eliminating any unsafe working conditions.
  • Staying up-to-date on state building codes and municipal ordinances.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction field.
  • The ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and scope of work.
  • An understanding of OSHA safety standards.
  • The ability to maintain current knowledge of state building codes and municipal ordinances.
  • A take-charge attitude and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office and other general computer knowledge.
