Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have experience in site/civil engineering design for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other exciting land development projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and modify various engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and equipment;
- Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, topographical, and geologic data and their impact on project planning and design;
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments;
- Perform other job duties as requested.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering;
- EIT certification; PE certification preferred;
- At least 3 years of prior relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion;
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a collaborative team environment.
