Job Summary:

The City of Bartlett is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic Firefighter to join our team. As a Paramedic Firefighter, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care and firefighting services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced medical care as required by the Emergency Medical Services Division
  • Participate in firefighting and salvage operations
  • Respond to rescue calls, public service calls, and other emergency services
  • Perform routine duties and regular training exercises
  • Deliver public education, safety, and disaster preparedness programs

Requirements:

  • Current State of Tennessee EMT-P licensure in good standing with no restrictions
  • Certification by the Tennessee Firefighting Personal Standards and Education Commission as a Firefighter II within five (5) years of employment
  • At least 18 years of age and a current unrestricted Driver's License for a minimum of 1 year
  • Ability to work 24-hour shifts
  • Pass a written test, physical ability test, and an oral interview process
  • Pass a background and driver's license check, psychological exam, and a physical exam, including a drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bartlett resident
  • Non-smoker
