Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist and the Imaging Director.
  • Perform MRI scans with minimal supervision.
  • Assess patient medical records for relevant history and information.
  • Collaborate with physicians to review requisitions.
  • Clearly explain the MRI procedure to patients.
  • Select appropriate techniques and protocols to achieve optimal imaging results.
  • Evaluate the quality of MRI studies.
  • Organize daily tasks and manage emergency situations as they arise.
  • Conduct daily equipment calibration checks.
  • Notify service personnel regarding any equipment malfunctions.
  • Educate medical and hospital staff on MRI safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all pre-contract requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of current MRI experience.
  • ARRT(MR) Certification: Essential
  • Familiarity with Siemens MRI equipment is preferred.
  • Associate's Degree or higher is required.
  • Previous travel experience is advantageous.
  • Possession of an out-of-state Imaging license is necessary for temporary assignments.
  • Non-licensed Imaging Technologists must apply for the permanent NH MIRT license.
  • NH Medical Imaging Radiation Therapy License is required.
Work Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts with no breaks.
  • 1.25x pay multiplier.
  • $5/hour for on-call or charge duties.
