Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician Specialist to join our team at Bridge Behavior Consulting. This role is pivotal in supporting children with autism and their families through tailored interventions.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Successful completion of the RBT exam and Registered Behavior Technician certification
  • A genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a commitment to advocacy within the autism community
  • Availability to work Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster an environment conducive to skill development, effective communication, and readiness for school among children.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to deliver transformative therapy.
  • Review and implement behavior plans and instructional materials to ensure fidelity and monitor progress.
  • Document daily progress notes related to the intervention strategies employed.
  • Engage with children to promote ongoing skill acquisition, enhance functional communication, and encourage positive peer interactions.
  • Celebrate achievements, both significant and minor, while helping families recognize milestones and enjoy the journey.
