Position Overview:
We are seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to assist in all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy. This role primarily involves dispensing medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.


Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (with a lunch break of 30 minutes to 1 hour). You will have a 40-hour work week, but your location may vary based on business needs.

This is a floater role covering designated areas.

You will be responsible for visiting various clinics in your assigned region and will receive mileage and drive time reimbursement (applicable after 50 miles).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
  • Fill prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
  • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
  • Process wholesaler medication orders.
  • Verify medication stock and maintain inventory records using computer systems.
  • Assist the pharmacist in ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
  • Perform various clerical duties related to the department.
  • Communicate effectively using strong verbal and written skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Washington.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to all sites within your designated area.
  • Ability to use your own vehicle for commuting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • 6+ months of prior pharmacy technician experience.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for Washington residents ranges from $16.00 to $28.27, based on various factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
