Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the property's buildings and grounds are well-maintained.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure all necessary tools are on hand and in good working condition.
  • Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances to management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company safety policies.
  • Be available to work on an on-call basis and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
  • Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday.
  • Remove snow and ice as necessary.
  • Handle lock-outs and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests.

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
