Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to prepare for trial by assembling and organizing essential documents such as trial binders, exhibit lists, expert witness lists, and witness lists.
  • Summarize and categorize critical documents including deposition transcripts and medical records.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, investigations, and evaluations of cases.
  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including notices, motions, briefs, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
  • Assist in document production and electronic discovery processes using tools like Relativity and kCura.
  • Communicate effectively with external vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Support the preparation for court appearances, depositions, and pleadings.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • ABA-approved Paralegal certificate is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of litigation experience is required, with a focus on Insurance Defense.
  • Ability to maintain a minimum of 1500+ billable hours annually.
