About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Systems/Network Administrator to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. As a mid-level professional, you will work with a mix of Windows and Network environments, supporting both network and system administration aspects of the business.

This position involves working with a growing investment company in the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver eager to expand their skills across diverse platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • 70% Hands-On
  • 10% Management Duties
  • 20% Team Collaboration

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in systems and network administration
  • Proficiency in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Red Hat Linux
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management
  • Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and experience in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash
  • Previous experience in a similar industry or mid-sized company
