Job Title: Contracts Manager

ATI | Advanced Technology International is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Contracts team, you will play a critical role in supporting our company goals and objectives.

Job Summary:

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing all elements of the contracting function, including proposal development, negotiation, and administration of contracts. This includes ensuring compliance with company, federal, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, negotiate, and monitor various types of contracts, including level of effort cost reimbursement type contracts, time and materials contracts, and firm fixed price contracts.
  • Facilitate pre-award and post-award activities in support of Company programs.
  • Review cost proposals and perform cost analysis as necessary.
  • Lead in the preparation of cost proposals.
  • Work closely with customers, program team, and subcontractors regarding funding and budgetary issues for each program.
  • Monitor contract budgets and support budget formations.
  • Manage contracts close-outs.
  • Negotiate and issue contract modifications.
  • Plan and conduct post-award conferences and debriefings.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a business-related field and three years of applicable experience or a Bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in government contracting, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in federal government contracting, preferably with the Department of Defense.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Supplements, as well as other federal government regulations and policies.
  • Effective management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex projects, often with competing priorities.
  • Ability to evaluate risks and discern legal implications associated with contractual terms and conditions, and the ability to communicate those to upper management.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, and organize and prioritize tasks according to shifting demands on time and resources.
  • Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working as a team member engaged in tasks requiring teamwork and performance to schedules. Excellent communication skills: oral and written.
  • Ability to travel at company discretion.
  • This position will need the ability to access US-only data systems – US Citizenship is required. Must be able to possess and maintain a DOD security clearance.

This position is located in an air-conditioned, environmentally controlled atmosphere. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the distraction level in the work environment is often heavy.
