Job Overview

This is a challenging onsite-hybrid position located at our newly built headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. As a Senior Drill Automation Engineer, you will develop technology for operator assist and autonomous features for Komatsu blasthole drills.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work within a team of engineers responsible for the development of technology for operator assist and autonomous features for Komatsu blasthole drills.
  • Design and support products for blasthole drills including vehicle-centric automation and tele-remote operation.
  • Analyze development requests and reported issues from customers, implement changes, and support deployment of technology.
  • Travel to customer sites to assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and training of technology products.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Controls Engineering).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sensors integration, programming, machine autonomy, and/or controls.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mentality.
  • Ability to travel annually up to 10%.

Estimated Salary Range:$85,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience. The role includes opportunities for professional growth and advancement with a leading company like Komatsu America.
