Nursing Director Job Description
- Lead day-to-day operations in Surgical Services at St. Vincent Regional Hospital.
- Allocate resources to promote efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate nursing care.
- Create an environment of shared decision-making and professional autonomy.
- Implement the vision, mission, core values of the Nursing Philosophy of CARING and Intermountain Health's Healing Commitments.
- Remain accountable for financial management of designated departments/service lines.
- Provide support and education to department managers for meeting financial goals.
- Model and foster an environment of professionalism.
- Assure delivery of safe high-quality patient care through ongoing process evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Three years of nursing leadership experience.
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
