About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Engineer to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of Thermo King Engineering and end customers with respect to validation of Transport Refrigeration product performance and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tests in a materials/chemistry lab environment.
  • Prepare samples for testing and evaluate the effects of exposure.
  • Conduct data processing and analysis.
  • Build detailed reports and communicate results.
  • Perform maintenance on salt fog and Xenon Arc Chambers.
  • Work in a safe and organized manner.
  • Flexibility with work assignments.
  • Documenting lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science (or related discipline) is required.
  • Minimum of one year experience performing corrosion testing and evaluations.
